White Pepper Whole
We source our White Peppercorns from the evergreen rainforests of Wayanad, Kerala, where they are grown & processed naturally. White Peppercorns are fully ripened berries as opposed to black pepper which are plucked when unripe. The White Peppercorns are then soaked in water & left to ferment. The outer skin is removed before drying, giving the pepper it's white colour. This pepper is milder in spice compared to the black sibling, but more complex in flavour due to the extra ripening and fermentation. It is used extensively in French cooking and is ideal for creamy, broths and earthy dishes.
