Our Jaggery is made of sustainably grown Sugarcane, in a small village of Himachal Pradesh. The Sugarcane juice is boiled, cooled and crystallised in containers, naturally, without the use of any chemicals or additives. These crystals are then shaped into whole pieces. The hues of Jaggery vary from Yellow, Brown to Dark Brown, depending on the processing. A non-refined sweetener with a caramelised taste, Jaggery is used in many Indian sweets, in salad dressings, marinades and beverages! It is rich in antioxidants, iron, fiber and protein and plays multiple roles in Ayurveda! It also acts like an energiser for the body and keeps us warm in the peak of winters.
