It’s been an adventurous journey – full of trial, error and tons of colour! There was lots to learn and we enjoyed every bit of it. Won’t lie – there were some tough days too, lots of follow ups, lots of mundane research, lots of technical research, mistakes, mood swings, lots of impatient moments — but at the absolute end, there were tons of smiles. We are so glad that after long last, we are able to deliver to you our promise of new and improved packaging and some great quality products.
Our new packaging design was created to communicate the story of each I Say Organic product. We’ve always worked hard to be true to our promise of delivering only what is fully authentic. Now, we want to make it easy for our consumers to visualize the journey of each of our products, to feel a stronger connect with our growers, and hence be able to consume more mindfully and savour the purity even more than before.

Six years after working with Ashmeet on the naming and branding, the packaging project gave us a unique opportunity; To put a face to the voice that chants out the call to action – ‘I Say Organic’. We imagined the customers, the Indian, urban, eco-conscious, health focused individuals, and illustrated them in settings of natural abundance and beauty – the source of the products themselves. The packaging is our take on what it means to say organic. It is full of colour, life and joy!

We’ve gone from 99% (food-grade) plastic pouches to a 50-50 by introducing craft paper to our packaging! Food grade plastic helps preserve, store and maintain the shelf life of these products. As we don’t put any artificial preservatives, storage is key. This packaging is affordable as well – for us and you, our customer! However, with our condiment jars and oils we’ve shifted to 100% glass bottles! Our 500 gm Ghee may still have a plastic lid but we are working towards getting a substitute for that too
