If you’re looking for something that’s as fun as it is healthy, look no further than our #lunchboxforkids lentil burgers! Kids love burgers, but when you make them with organic potatoes and lentils, they’re getting a low-fat, high protein treat that’s also delicious. Add your own garnish, sauces, or veggies to make it your own!
1) Boil potatoes and lentils until soft.
2) Mash together with salt and pepper and form patties. Dust with besan or bread crumbs, and fry or bake to browned perfection.
3) Using a dash of hummus or spread, sandwich the patties in toasted burger buns with lettuce, slices of tomato and onion.
4) Add ketchup and serve with sweet potato mash or wedges.
